Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Untamed Data platform, operated by Untamed Data B.V. ("Untamed Data", "we", "us"), a company registered in the Netherlands under KVK number 91169143, registered office at Singel 4, 4357 BW Domburg, the Netherlands. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Untamed Data is a platform for legitimate wildlife monitoring using trail cameras. It lets you upload photos and videos (manually, including photos copied off an SD card, or automatically via FTP/FTPS), organizes them by project and camera, and uses automated species detection to help you make sense of your footage.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date via Account settings.

You agree to use Untamed Data only for lawful purposes. In particular, you will not:

• Use the platform to facilitate illegal hunting, poaching, or any activity that violates wildlife protection laws in your jurisdiction;
• Place or use cameras in a way that violates the privacy of third parties (e.g. covert surveillance of people without a lawful basis), or in violation of applicable trespassing, surveillance, or data protection laws;
• Upload content you don't have the right to share, or that infringes anyone else's rights;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' data.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

You own the photos, videos, and other data you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading it, you grant Untamed Data a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the service for you — we don't claim ownership of it, sell it, or use it for any other purpose.

You can access, export, or delete Your Content at any time from the platform.

Species detections are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or miss detections entirely. They are provided as a convenience to help you review your footage, not as a certified or legally authoritative record — you remain responsible for verifying anything you rely on for compliance, research, or legal purposes.

We may introduce new AI-powered features over time. Unless stated otherwise, the same disclaimer applies: automated output is provided "as is", without warranty of accuracy.

Untamed Data may offer different subscription plans with different features and limits. Current pricing and plan details are provided separately at signup or in your Account settings.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted under Dutch law, Untamed Data disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including reliance on automated species detections.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Upon termination, Section 5 (Your Content) and our Privacy Policy's data-retention terms continue to apply to any data still held.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be submitted to the Rechtbank Zeeland-West-Brabant, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the platform before they take effect.
